VOI Baia di Tindari Resort ****

Location

In the north-east of Sicily, just 150 metres from the beach, VOI Baia di Tindari Resort is the ideal choice to combine a seaside holiday with a sporting and cultural stay. Catania airport is about 170 km away, Palermo airport about 210 km.

Hotel

The VOI Baia di Tindari Resort consists of a central body and several two-storey buildings. From the village you can enjoy the view of the Aeolian Islands, and in particular of Vulcano; the proximity to the sea, the contact with nature, the many activities offered make the Resort the ideal choice for adults and children.

Rooms

The 175 units are located in the different buildings of the resort, and consist of rooms of different types and flats. All units have a private bathroom and a furnished patio or balcony.

Beach

Just 150 metres from the village, the sandy beach with pebbles on the shoreline is easily reached by a path through a eucalyptus grove. The beach is equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds (subject to availability), free of charge from the third row, while the first two rows are dedicated for the guests of the Superior Room. Beach towels are available, both on the beach and in the swimming pool, upon payment of a deposit of € 20,00 (the cost for each change is € 2,00).

Wellness Centre

At the VOI Wellness Center are available, for a fee, sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi and a wide range of beauty treatments and massages. The centre is accessible to people aged 14 and over.

Families

The children's programme and dedicated services confirm VOI Baia di Tindari Resort as an excellent choice for families, who can enjoy their holiday in peace and quiet and have everything they need at their disposal.

The activity/assistance programme is divided by age group:

- Voilà Baby (0-1.99 years) available in high season, for a fee, compulsory, ; Baby Club (3-6 years); 4Fun Club (7-13 years); B.Free Club (14-17 years).

They are also available:

- Nursery in a dedicated area, equipped with sterilisers, bottle warmers, induction hobs, pots and pans, blender, fridge and microwave Specific products (vegetable broth, vegetable purée, fresh fruit, homogenised meat, fish and fruit products, fresh milk, biscuits, yoghurt, water, fruit juices, nappies). The products will only be provided during the care hours (11:30-21:30), while the premises can also be used without care, outside these hours.

- Indoor play area and outdoor play area (to be used with parents).

Restaurant

The main restaurant, centrally located, overlooks the pool and offers a menu of Italian cuisine and traditional Sicilian regional dishes. Tables are assigned with your room.

The Resort is A.I.C. (Italian Coeliac Association) certified; dedicated products are therefore available.

Guests wishing to enjoy a good pizza baked in a wood-burning oven, meat and fish barbecue dishes and fresh salads can go to the second restaurant, reservation required (drinks not included - opening at management's discretion).

Snacks and drinks are available at the central bar throughout the day, and in the evening there is music and a piano bar. 

The following are subject to a charge: spirits, ice cream, packaged products and bottled or canned drinks, coffee until 10 am and after midnight. 

The Soft All Inclusive Formula includes:

International breakfast, lunch and dinner with water, house wine, beer and soft drinks on tap with meals; during the day from 10:00 to 24:00 unlimited consumption of water, soft drinks, espresso coffee and juices and coffee at the lobby bar. Snacks (two appointments per day) and alcoholic aperitif twice a week. 

Sports

Each week the animators organise tournaments (tennis, table tennis, canoeing, beach volleyball), muscle toning, games and group dances. The resort has two tennis courts (for a fee if used with lighting), a bocce court, a synthetic grass five-a-side football pitch and a beach volleyball court. Individual windsurfing, canoeing and tennis lessons are also available for a fee, as well as the hire of sports equipment for individual use.

Services & Activities

The village has three swimming pools, one for adults and two for children (with different heights); free Wi-Fi throughout the Resort, internal unattended parking, gym, bazaar, external medical service for a fee. The VOI Concierge is at the complete disposal of guests for advice and bookings of itineraries, excursions and car hire.

Possibility to book the PRESTIGE PLUS Formula, available with extra charge (€ 165,00 per room/week) and not combinable with promotions and special offers. The Prestige Plus formula is on request, to be confirmed at the time of booking.

The Prestige Plus Formula includes:

- One beach umbrella and two sunbeds per room reserved in the first and second row on the beach

- Daily newspaper

- Typical gift in the room

- Minibar with drinks included (first refill)

- Daily change of beach towel

- Late check out at 13:00 (subject to availability)

Tourist tax: from 15/6 to 15/09 € 2,00 per day/person from 10 years old; from 16/09 to 31/12 and from 01/01 to 14/06 € 1,00 per day/person, to be paid on site. Tourist tax regulations may be subject to change.
